Champions-in-waiting playing on Sunday?

Crossmaglen Rangers take on Ballinderry Shamrocks this Sunday in Enniskillen in the replay of the Ulster final at 2.30pm. Crossmaglen are going for a hat-trick of Ulster titles and are many people’s favourites to annex the provincial title.

The winners of Sunday’s game will face Drom-Broadford (Limerick ) in the All-Ireland semi-final in February and are a definite shoo-in to be playing in the club final on March 17 next year.

Considering the high standard shown in the first game between these sides, and some of the marquee names involved, it is not irrational to suggest that the winners of the All-Ireland club final will come from next Sunday’s game.

The game is live on TG4 from 2pm and should provide top class viewing.
