Find your own Operation Transformation programme at Galway Health & Fitness Expo this weekend

An interesting line-up of talks and exhibitors has been announced for Galway Health and Fitness Expo which takes place at the Black Box venue this Saturday and Sunday (March 2 and 3 ). The event is designed to provide something for everyone from sports enthusiasts to people looking to live a healthier life through dietary and lifestyle changes.

The speakers on both days will cover a variety of topics from ‘How to boost your immune system’ to ‘Strategies for optimum performance in life and sport’. Former Operation Transformation leader Ronan Scully will also speak at the event about his personal transformation and keeping up the momentum since he appeared on the RTE show two years ago.

He commented, ‘Everyone knows that walking, running or doing regular exercise is a great way to get into shape, and it can benefit almost every part of your body, as well as lift your mood. If you are thinking about getting into walking or running or exercise get your runners on and give it a try, I promise you won't regret it'.

'Be realistic about your goals and formulate a step by step plan. Aim only to achieve one goal at a time, trying to do too much too soon is a recipe for disaster. Accept the odd set back but never give in, just pick yourself up and start again' he added.

Exhibitors at the event will include

fitness instructors, physiotherapists, nutritionists, weight-loss experts, race organisers, sports and health food products, and complementary medicine practitioners. Shane Kennedy of Irish Company Flexi Nutrition is one of the exhibitors at the upcoming event. Speaking about the Expo he commented; “This is the ideal opportunity to showcase our extensive range of high quality nutritional products and to highlight the key benefits that our products provide”.

Attendees can browse the exhibitor stands, have one-to-one conversations with a variety of therapists and experts, enter competitions and avail of free mini-treatments from some of the exhibitors, as well as listening to the talks taking place at the central demonstration area.

Galway Health and Fitness Expo will take place from 11am – 5pm on Saturday and Sunday March 2 and 3 with talks taking place from 12noon on both days.

Admission is €5 or €4 for seniors and students – children under 12 go free. For more information like GalwayExpo on Facebook or visit www.galway healthandfitness.com
