Comedy and music at Busker Brownes

BUSKER BRTOWNE’S on Cross Street will host another night of stand-up comedy at it’s new comedy club along with music gigs ranging from rock to jazz.

Comedy Cocktails, the new comedy club in Busker Browne’s, takes place on Sunday nights upstairs from 10pm. This Sunday will see stand-up sets from Emmanuel Emman Idama, Adam Cullen, John O’Hare, Declan Brennan, John O’Malley, Johnny Graham, Qassim A Al-Ibrahim, Danny O’Hanlon, and Dermot Roche. Admission is free.

Afterwards enjoy The Lewd Tunes, a seven piece Galway band, with a brass section. They have performed with The Commitments, Jerry Fish, The Andrew Strong Band, and The Stunning.

On Monday the 17 piece Black Magic Big Band will entertain audiences. They have had a residency Busker’s for the past two years and count Ryan Tubridy among their fans. Wednesday night is Brickhouse playing funk, classics, and anthems. Sunday midday is the Galway Bay Jazz Band.
