Domaine Horgelus Côtes de Gascogne IGP 2011 (Wines Direct, €9.50 )
From Côtes de Gascogne in the French southwest, this is a blend of Colombard (75 per cent ) and Sauvignon Blanc (25 per cent ) that is fresh and fruity on the nose. While on the palate it has got lots of peaches and citrusy perfume with more than a slight hint of nectarine. Uncomplicated wine with a decent finish, perfect with fish or as an aperitif.
