LIMERICK FOLK-rock band Hermitage Green are heading to Galway to play Monroe’s Backstage Bar on Thursday October 11 at 10pm.
The band’s five members have contrasting musical tastes, ranging from traditional Irish and folk music to metal. Expect hard hitting rhythms driven by bodhráns and djembes with four part vocal harmonies soaring over the top.
Since forming two years ago the band have already played support to The Saw Doctors, Sharon Shannon and The Stunning, and toured France, the US, and the United Arab Emirates.
