If you are looking for a pet, check out these gorgeous animals looking for homes. While we can only show you a sample here, please check our website www.galway-spca.com and have a look at all our animals. Please note home checks are carried out for all our animals, and a donation is required.
Our office number is (091 ) 563631. Please leave a message and the staff will return your call. We ask people leaving telephone numbers to say them slowly as we are having difficulty with people flying through their number, and when it is replayed it is impossible to know what the person is saying. If giving directions, please give them from Galway to the location in question.

Juliet: Juliet is a very large cat, about two or three years old. She is very friendly and affectionate but, like all cats, enjoys her own space and independence. She would suit a home where she can be the only cat.
Jessie: Jessie is roughly a year old, and has already had a litter. She was bottle fed as a kitten and as a result she probably considers herself to be more human than cat. She is very affectionate with humans but would prefer a home with no other cats.
Mouse: Little Mouse is about four months old and he is a typically playful, friendly kitten. He is affectionate, curious, full of fun, and would make a perfect pet for anyone.
Angel: Angel is about two years old. She has had a few litters but, like Jessie, she has been neutered. She is very affectionate and loves to be petted, but she would prefer a home with no other cats. She is very independent and would best suit a home where she can have regular access to the outdoors.
The Galway SPCA will hold Pet NCT event at Petworld, Terryland, this Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers from the GSPCA will be there throughout the day and are hoping to see many of the animals which have been adopted over the years. Vets and Petworld staff will also be available to answer questions on pet health, nutrition, and general care.
Owners of rescue animals in particular are invited to go along as the GSPCA team love to see how their former charges are getting on. There will be a prize for best rescue cat and dog at the event. The judging will be between 12 noon and 3pm on Sunday. For more information visit the Galway SPCA on Facebook.
