SHE IS just 19. She comes from a village in the Scottish Highlands called Carrbridge, and the Herald Scotland has compare her vocals to Joni Mitchell.
The singer-songwriter plays Monroe’s Live on Saturday October 6 where she will be performing songs from her new album Under Mountains. Rachel has supported Mumford & Sons, KT Tunstall, Newton Faulkner, and John William Grant, while the latter two have teamed up with Rachel for special duets.
The Herald Scotland said of her: “As she sings her sweet, high voice soars and soars. Close your eyes and you'd imagine Joni Mitchell had moved from Laurel Canyon to Carrbridge.”
Tickets are available on the door or through www.monroes.ie and 091 - 583397.
