Mervue community playground is in with a chance to win a makeover as part of a national competition, and a call has gone out to Galwegians to help it win the prize.
Local parents can help win a clean-up and graffiti removal worth €2,000 by logging on to www.mykidstime.ie/playgroundmakeover Voting closes tomorrow.
The winning playground will receive a complete clean of all surfaces and equipment including removal of graffiti, moss and algae, leaving it clean and fresh and ready to play on. Two runners-up will each receive graffiti removal kits which the local community can use to clean up their own playground. The winners will be announced on Monday
