DO YOU write poetry? Are you working on a novel? Do you pen short stories? Would you like to get the chance for others to hear them?
If the answer is ‘Yes’ to any or all of these questions make sure to go to Kenny’s Bookshop and Art Galleries Ltd, in the Liosbán Retail Park, Tuam Road, for the Over The Edge Open-Mic, on Friday September 21.
From 6pm onwards, all are welcome to share their work and have a chance to read it in front of an audience. There will be prizes of book vouchers (one €100 and two €50 ) for the best readers. The event will also see the launch of a new poetry collection by Máire Holmes.
