One of Ireland’s greatest comedians, Brendan Grace, is celebrating 41 years in the comedy business. His new show Best of 41 Years features some new material as well as old favourites, including the ‘Father of the Bride’ and ‘Chinese Takeaway’.
Brendan is known for his impeccable timing and ability to read an audience. He is a varied character actor and brings the infamous Dublin schoolboy Bottler to every performance.
Although he spends much of the year in Florida with his family, he still tours the Irish theatre circuit as well as major hotels. The genial Dubliner is happy to welcome all his fans, young and old, to his performances and is delighted to meet and greet them after the show.
The comedian enjoyed a resurgence in recent years due to his appearance as the supremely rude Fr Fintan Stack in the classic comedy Father Ted. This led to a younger audience discovering Brendan’s work and he is loved by comedy fans of all ages.
Brendan Grace appears at the Station House Hotel in Clifden on Friday August 21 (095 30303 ) and the Town Hall Theatre (091 569777 ) on Saturday September 1. Early booking is advisable.
