Bernard O’Shea @ Róisín Dubh

BERNARD O’SHEA delivers “left-field imaginative, but not up its arse, lovely comedy” according to Hotpress, and it is what audiences can expect at his Róisín Dubh show next Wednesday at 8.30pm.

Bernard is, according to chortle.co.uk, “a fizzing, iridescent ball of sheer energy; a fast-talking, fast-thinking comedian who invigorates a room with his presence”.

The Scotsman describes him as having “the soft, buttery tones of Ardal O’Hanlon married to the kind of luxuriant angst, glorious vulnerabilities, and fabulous impromptu raging that reminds you how extraordinary stand-up can be”.

Bernard’s television credits include RTÉ’s Republic of Telly, The Liffey Laughs, and Naked Camera. He was one half of TJ and TJ on Today FM’s The Last Word, and he currently co-hosts Breakfast with Bernard and Keith on iRadio.

Support is from Matt Reed and Eric Lalor. Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, from the Ticket Desk at OMG, Shop Street (formerly Zhivago ), and The Róisín Dubh.
