WRITERS AND film-makers working as Gaeilge are being sought to take part in the new Scéal 2 scheme.
Scéal 2 is a development scheme which offers Irish-speaking writers/directors an opportunity to adapt a well-known story from literature as Gaeilge - short story, poem, folklore, myth - into a 30 minute film.
The scheme is open to all, whether they have screen experience or not, and to directors who wish to gain experience in television drama through Irish. All applicants will need to have a proficiency in Gaeilge.
The closing date for applications is August 24. All information on the Scéal scheme is available at www.tg4.ie/sceal
