THE DRIFTWOOD MANOR, the folk band centred around singer-songwriter Eddie Keenan, will launch their new EP with a show in the Róisín Dubh.
The Driftwood Manor’s Dominican Black Abbey EP will be launched upstairs in the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday at 8pm. The six track EP features a mix of Irish folk, American roots, and psychedelia. It was produced by Eddie and Keith Wallace and features Neil Fitzgibbon on fiddle, Annemarie Deacy on vocals, and Bryan Higgins on guitar.
Support on the night is from Phantom Dog Beneath The Moon’s Aaron Hurley. Aaron is also a member of the avant-folk collective Cubs who are releasing a new album, entitled Willowfield.
Dominican Black Abbey EP as well as Cubs’ Willowfield album and Good Shepherd’s Ah...The Good Sea EP are being released by independent Galway label Rusted Rail on Sunday. The releases will be available from rustedrail.com and from Wingnut Records at Bell, Book & Candle.
