Galway put their 100 per cent record on the line this Saturday (3.15pm ) when they face Wexford in Kenny Park in the All Ireland Senior Camogie Championship.
Galway enjoyed a hard-fought 1-13 to 0-12 win over Clare last weekend in Cusack Park. Niamh McGrath slotted three points in the second quarter to push them ahead and Tony Ward’s charges led at half time, 0-8 to 0-6.
Sarah Dervan made a very good save at a crucial stage midway through the second half and Galway pushed on from there - with a goal of their own a few minutes later.
Brenda Hanney gathered possession from an Aislinn Connolly delivery and laid off the ball to Niamh Kilkenny who made no mistake with a low shot to the Clare net.
All-Ireland champions Wexford also won last Saturday, recording a 2-20 to 1-4 win over Dublin.
*The Galway intermediates will also face Wexford at Kenny Park at 1.30pm this Saturday.
