Ballinrobe Racecourse has announced RTE’s Off The Rails presenter Brendan Courtney as their judge for theFASHIONshed.com Ladies Day on Tuesday next June 26.
The Best Dressed Lady on the night will win a €1,000 voucher for theFASHIONSHED.com including a €1,000 Swarovski Crystal Jewellery Hamper and a €100 Jim Desmond Bookmaker voucher.
Ten runners-up will receive a €120 voucher for Vintage Dolls Occasion Wear plus Swarovski Crystal earrings worth €90. theFASHIONshed.com is an Irish-based online shopping centre featuring some of the most exciting Irish retailers and boutiques. While at the County Mayo track, Brendan Courtney will also host and judge his millinery design competition ‘Who Wants to be a Milliner’ – an event created to celebrate Irish design while promoting export and Irish craft. All local milliners are invited to enter one hat on the evening. The winning hat, along with winning hats from other ladies days, will compete in a national final judged by Philip Treacy, Pauric Sweeney, Brendan Courtney and Sonya Lennon. The hats will also go on sale in Arnott’s, Dublin and online.
