Salthill Knocknacarra GAA will host an inaugural u-11 football tournament in the home pitch of the Prairie on Saturday.
Teams have been invited from Galway’s Oranmore-Maree and Claregalway, along with Roscommon’s St Brigids GAA from Kiltoom. Each club will field two 11-a-side squads in the tournament, which commences at 10am.
Formatted as GAA Go-Games blitz, the games will allow maximum participation of all players over the day’s games. Both the Pete Burke Cup and the Enda Colleran Cup will be presented at the culmination of the matches at 3pm, with prizes for the 100 players.
With a full barbecue on offer, the club is inviting all members, parents, and supporters to wear their club colours and come to the Prairie this Saturday for fun and football.
