What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Being able to stay positive no matter what life throws at you.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

Michael Collins.

Which living person do you most admire?

My parents, without them I wouldn’t be here.

Which is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

I usually end up taking on too many things but I’m working on that.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Probably my TV at the minute.

What is your favourite journey?

Plane journey to Thailand.

On what occasion do you lie?

I try not too.

Which living person do you most despise?

Does Jedward count as a person?

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

My son, that love is unconditional.

When and where were you happiest?

At the birth of my child, what a feeling!

Which talent would you most like to have?

To be able to mimic people’s accents and I’m crap at it.

What is your current state of mind?

Positive, driven but content.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

It’s still to come so watch this space!

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what do you think it would be?

Hugh Hefner.

What is your most treasured possession?

My guitar, I picked it up late in life but so glad I did.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Contemplating suicide, that’s rock bottom.

What is your favourite occupation?

I’m a self employed electrician.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

Loyality.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

Good personality. And good looks to go with it is no harm.

Who are your favourite writers?

In music I like the ones that write from the heart and keep it real.

What is your motto?

After every dark night there’s a brighter day, have it tattooed on my arm!
