THE WEDDING Present return to the Róisín Dubh on Saturday November 3 to play their acclaimed 1991 album Seamonsters.
This year has been a busy one for the Leeds band, led by songwriter David Gedge. They have already played the SXSW Music Festival and are touring the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Hong Kong. To round off the year they will return for shows in Ireland and Britain, which will include a performance of Seamonsters.
Seamonsters was produced by Steve Albini, and Allmusic.com said of it: “The Wedding Present work best on this album when Gedge's plaintive love songs explode into a distorted fury.”
Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh and www.roisindubh.net
