KEVIN O’SHEA and Adam White will recite their poetry at the North Beach Poetry Nights in The Crane Bar, Sea Road, this Monday at 6.30pm.
Moycullen’s Kevin O’Shea is the winner of the Cúirt New Writing Prize 2012 for poetry. He has been published in the Irish Left Review, Ropes, and poetry anthologies Behind the Masks and Mosaic. His debut collection The Art of Non-Fishing will be published by Doire Press in October.
Cork’s Adam White has performed his poetry at Electric Picnic and in France. His poems are inspired by his travels in and out of Ireland.
Poets wishing to enter the Slam on the night need two three minutes poems. The prize for the winner is a bottle of wine and entry to the North Beach Grand Slam in December.
