A new youth club, for young people aged between 12 and 18, is to be set up in Knocknacarra by youth organisation Foróige.
Young people within that age group and their parents are invited to attend the Foróige club registration on Friday April 27 at 7pm at the Knocknacarra Community Rooms adjacent to Joyce’s Supermarket. Club places are limited in numbers for the time being and applicants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
“Foróige offers a fun and safe space for teenagers to organise events and entertainment or to just hang out,” says club leader Conor McGuinness. “Foróige clubs are run by young people, for young people, and I would encourage anyone between the ages of 12 and 18 to get involved in the new club.”
An affiliation fee of €5 will be payable in order to join the club. The club will run until June, and will restart in September. See www.foroige.ie
