Galway Modern Homes and Building Exhibition a great success

The Galway Modern Homes and Building Exhibition, which took place in Leisureland last weekend, was a great success with a large crowd of visitors attending the event over three days. They arrived with their house plans and met with the professionals with the expertise and advice for building, extending, or renovating their homes.

Leisureland was an ideal venue to host the exhibition as it had all the facilities required for the show. It was an excellent way to view the latest products and services available relating to every aspect to the house and home and a chance for visitors to thoroughly explore the items and services with trade professionals who had vital first-hand knowledge to share. There were lots of bargains, including special discounts on offer by most exhibitors every day. The door prize was a fabulous Boru Faichra freestanding stove 6KW, value €695, sponsored by Matthews Fireplaces, 40 Briarhill Business Park, Ballybrit. The winner of the door prize was John Glynn, Newtown, Lawrencetown, Ballinasloe.

The organisers also awarded a prize for the best stand at the show and the winner was Timoney Windows of Barna.

Modern Homes and Building Exhibition’s next show will be in the West County Hotel, Ennis, Co Clare, on April 28 and 29. For further enquiries phone 058 48633 or visit www.modernhomes.ie
