With the national focus on new work opportunities, Galway-based training company In Tuition are running an innovative training programme for jobseekers on building a successful business using the internet. A free introductory training workshop will take place in Ballybane Enterprise Centre on Tuesday 3rd April from 6.30 – 9.00pm.
This introductory Building a Business using the Internet workshop will outline to participants exactly how they can build a successful web-based business without needing external web design or IT support.
Speaking in advance of the workshop, programme facilitator Ann Halloran of In-Tuition said that this free workshop will be of interest to anyone who is looking to develop an online business with minimum outlay. “It will include practical tips on the importance of preselling versus selling online and how to choose the best site concept and strategy for your needs.”
“Other areas covered will include choosing and registering a website name, building content, directing traffic to your site, link building, social media and the range of options for generating consistent income on a website,” concluded Ann.
The introductory workshop launches a follow on ten week programme (one day per week ) where participants can apply the process and create an online business with support from tutors. The necessary steps from developing a site concept right through to making a consistent income on the web will be covered. It is designed for people who have basic computer skills and the determination to succeed.
