WEST OF Ireland trio Ka-Tet play The Underground Sound night in Monroe’s BackStage Bar next Wednesday at 11pm.
The band have been touring Ireland since their formation and have earned support slots with The Coronas, God Is An Astronaut, and Kila. Their influences are Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures. In 2010 they formed the independent label Cold Room Records along with the bands Town Criers and Race The Flux.
