RAPPER AND spoken word artist Scroobius Pip will be performing in the Róisín Dubh on Tuesday March 13 at 8pm.
Pip (aka David Peter Meads ) is no stranger to Galway, having performed here on numerous occasions, as one half of the brilliant English hip hop duo, dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip.
However in September Pip released his debut solo album Distraction Pieces which finds the artist commenting on politics, celebrity, the military, freedom of information, and existence in witty, articulate, and intelligent ways. The album features guest vocals from Sage Francis, B Dolan, and Natasha Fox, with Zane Lowe and Steve Mason producing some of the tracks.
