Roads in the Headford, Tuam, and Connemara areas of County Galway are set to benefit from grants allocated to the Galway County Council for this year’s road work's programme.
A total of €700,000 has been allocated for the Luimnagh Realignment Scheme; €10,000 for traffic calming in Headford; €10,000 for traffic calming in Clonboo; €37,500 for Cong Road; €68,000 for Carnacib; €29,200 for Castleview Estate; €41,000 for Largan; €108,000 for Claran; €100,000 for Bunnasillagh; €60,000 for Killamonagh; €18,900 for Coarsepark; €16,380 for Pollinahallia; €17,150 for Corbally North; €30,000 for Gortroe, Corrandulla; €300,000 for Kilbannon to Tuam; € 20,000 for Tonegurrane Bridge; and €25,350 for Coteenty.
Funding has also been provided for town and village maintenance in Headford, Caherlistrane, and Corrandulla.
