New style of accountancy practice comes to Galway

A new walk-in tax and accountancy advice service, TaxAssist Accountants, servicing small businesses and the self employed has recently opened in Galway city centre.

The new business was launched by Eoin McGreal, a Certified Public Accountant with over twelve years experience. Having worked in various accounting roles throughout his career, Mr McGreal has decided to fulfil his ambition of opening his own business.

What is very new about this practice is its location. TaxAssist Accountants operates from a bright, open shop on Lower Cross Street, right in the heart of Galway’s City Centre. The idea of the shop front is that clients can simply call in off the street to discuss their accountancy and tax matters without an appointment.

Speaking about this new way of operating Mr McGreal commented. “Traditionally, the accountants office is hidden away upstairs. I wanted to take away any of the formalities and make a trip to the accountants a more comfortable experience’.

Speaking about his new venture Mr McGreal commented. “I am delighted to be launching my own business. There is a real can-do attitude to business here and I felt there was a gap in the market for an accountant who works specifically with small businesses and sole traders, giving them the attention and value they deserve. With TaxAssist Accountants I hope to plug that gap.”

He works with a broad range of customers, from doctors and IT contractors to restaurants and tradesmen. He is offering a free one hour consultation to all businesses in Galway this month.
