Public meetings against the Government’s proposed household charge will be held across County Galway and in Galway city over the coming days.
Meetings are to be held in Letterfrack, Williamstown, An Cheathrú Rua, and Ballybane as part of the campaign against the proposed charge
The meeting in Letterfrack will take place this evening in Ellis Hall at 7.30pm and all are welcome. The Williamstown meeting will take place at 3.30pm on Sunday in the parochial hall and people from the Glenamaddy, Dunmore, Ballymoe, Castlerea, Ballyhaunis, and surrounding districts are invited to attend the meeting.
The Ballybane meeting takes place on Tuesday in The Lantern at 7.30pm. The meeting is aimed at householders from the east side of Galway city and all are welcome.
