CIRQUE DU Byrne, the acclaimed stand-up show from one of Ireland’s leading comedians, Jason Byrne, is coming to Galway next month.
Jason Byrne’s Cirque Du Byrne will take place in the Seapoint Leisure Centre, Salthill, on Saturday February 4 at 7.30pm as a ‘Róisín Dubh presents...’ show.
On the night Jason, decked in the scarlet garb of a three-ring circus master, will mix stand up, chat, and whatever might take his fancy, to deliver quips and views about married life, the sexes, sex, and idiocy.
The show has been toured across the world to critical acclaim. The Brisbane Times said: “His monologues about the feminisation of modern men incite cheers and caterwauls. His musings on religion and holy Roman matrimony are provocative without being too political. Though he ridicules and rants, it's impossible to be offended or frustrated by Byrne at pulpit – the big, blond buffoon is just so bloody likeable.” Time Out praised Jason’s “quick silver mind and a touch of madness make him one of the all time greats”.
