Fr Griffin’s to build on u-16 success

Fr Griffin’s Éire Óg GAA Club is appealing to members to re-double their fundraising efforts.

At the club’s recent annual general meeting, treasurer Matthew Deane said the recession had affected the club’s finances and, with costs rising, he urged all members to make extra efforts to raise funds.

In thanking those who had volunteered their time, chairman Thomas Cox also appealed for new members and parents to become involved in the club to build on the success of the u-16 team for the future.
