Calum Best to launch new fragrance in Galway tomorrow

Calum Best, son of the legendary footballer George Best, will launch his new fragrance, Best, in The Live Lounge of the Radisson Blu Hotel tomorrow from 9pm.

There will also be live music from London urban-funk band White Powder Gold and a DJ set from Kellie Acreman.

The night will begin with the fragrance presentation from Calum. The former fashion model and TV personality’s first fragrance, Calum, was launched in 2006. This is his second scent, entitled Best. After the launch, Calum will then be joining the party in the VIP section by the main stage in the Live Lounge.

White Powder Gold’s new EP, described as “council estate indie” is set for release by Twenty One Records in December, and the band have been referred to already in the music press as “A band on a mission to filter dub step, electro, indie, R&B and hip-hop through the cosmic gateways of melodic pop”. The band have also supported GZA of Wu-Tang Clan.

Kellie Acreman, the 28-year-old model and DJ, originally from Torquay in Devon, is familiar to readers of FHM, Maxim, and Loaded, for her photoshoots, and for campaigns for Victoria Silvstedt and Janet Reger lingerie.

For the past three years she has been a DJ performing across the world at many exclusive clubs and at parties for Jenna Jameson, T-Pain, and Lindsay Lohan.
