Free non-alcoholic drinks for designated drivers

Galwegians will be able to enjoy free non-alcoholic beverages, courtesy of Coca-Cola in 50 pubs across the county this Christmas.

This is The Designated Driver Campaign, an award-winning road safety initiative which offers safety-conscious designated drivers three free soft drinks, juice, and bottled water from the Coca-Cola range.

The aim of the campaign is to reduce instances of drink driving and promote safety during the festive season, when pubs are busier than ever with people celebrating Christmas with a night on the town.

The participating Galway city premises are Lohan’s, The Imperial Hotel, Galway Greyhound Stadium, Eyre and Park House Hotel and Restaurant, Jury’s Inn, Salthill Court Hotel, Murty Rabbits, Star King Restaurant, g hotel, Bunch Of Grapes, Killoran’s Bar, Cullinane Inn, Kennedy’s Bar, The Quays, Fibber McGee’s, Oslo Bar, Merlin Bar, Taaffes, Cottage Bar, Meyrick Hotel, The Dáil Bar, The Front Door, Tom Sheridan’s, and Radisson Blu Hotel.

Tuam: McDonagh’s Congress House, The Abbey Tavern, Geoghegan’s Bar, Rustic Vaults, Corralea Court Hotel, Man of Aran, Ard Rí House Hotel, and Bridge Bar.
