Renowned interior designer Laurent Billiet opened his long awaited and much anticipated interior design boutique this year. The boutique, located at 11 Lower Abbeygate Street, opened on June 30. It is open Monday to Saturday 10am to 6pm, and Sunday 1pm to 5.30pm.
After six successful years, Billiet’s interior design business, La Maison Chic, has taken the next step. “I found many clients saying they wished they could pick up the objects I chose for their houses all the time, and I always wanted to share my favourite designers and picks with a wider audience, so I’m excited to be able to showcase them now in my very own boutique,” he said.
La Maison Chic retails Billiet’s favourites in home furnishings, silk flowers, candles, accessories, lighting, cushions, bedspreads, paints, fabrics, and wallpapers along with a range of lifestyle pieces including handbags, children’s gifts, and books. The boutique is the perfect one-stop experience to pick up stylish, unique, gifts for any occasion or individual, from weddings — La Maison Chic will also offer a wedding registry — and housewarming gifts to children’s birthday presents.
La Maison Chic also offers instore free interior design advice by appointment, Tuesday to Saturday, and as usual Laurent Billiet’s style is an exceptional blend of sophistication, elegance, and refined beauty. With nine years in the interior design business in France and Ireland, Billiet is frequently asked to advise on interior trends for national interior features and now La Maison Chic is sure to be filled with his delightful hidden home treasures.
La Maison Chic also boasts one of the largest designer curtain and upholstery fabric and wallpaper libraries in Ireland including, among others, Colefax, Arte, Pierre Frey, Zoffany, and Sanderson. The range also includes Zoffany and Little Greene paints.
