Manogue makes first defence of title at Seasons Beatings 4

One of Ireland’s top fighters, Galwayman Gary Manogue, will make a mandatory first defence of his IKF 5 Nations full contact kickboxing title on Saturday.

Manogue will face unbeaten Welshman Mike Sandford from Swansea in the annual kickboxing promotion entitled "Seasons Beatings 4".

Also on the same card, Bryan Merrigan will take on tough Muay Thai stylist Josh Tannian from the well-respected Spartans Muay Thai camp in Cork for the vacant IKF All Ireland super welterweight title.

This fight is under Oriental Rules which allows low leg kicks, so both fighters, one a kickboxer and the other a Thaiboxer, will have to adapt a little.

Another fighter from the Black Dragon club is also hoping to capture a national title. Yvonne McNevin takes on Geina McGrath from the famous Waterford Kickboxing Association camp headed up by the legendary Billy O' Sullivan, and this is for the vacant IKF All Ireland flyweight belt.

World champion kickboxer Cathal Manning will take on tough Dubliner JJ Doran in a Queensbury Rules super prestige boxing match.

There is also a full support card which boasts both kickboxing and K-1 fights.

Doors open at 6.30pm with the first fight scheduled for 7pm sharp.
