THERE IS a real buzz around Keywest right now and so anticipation of their gig in Monroe’s Live on Friday December 2 at 8.30pm is high.
On the night the band will perform songs from their debut album The Message which is due for release in January 2012.
Keywest are no strangers to Galway and many will be familiar with them from their busking on Shop Street through to supporting Blondie at the Galway Arts Festival this summer. “It’s our second home,” say the band. “Galway is a very special place in all our hearts. So we want to bring our BIG show to Monroe’s Live.”
The band has spent the year working on their self-penned album The Message in LA with Grammy nominated Mark Needham (The Killers ) producing. “Keywest are one of my top tips to breakthrough,” he says. “There has been a real buzz about this band here in Los Angeles” .
See for yourself when they play Monroe’s next week.
