SINGER-SONGWRITER Martina Flaherty, whose music encompasses folk, blues, rock, soul, and funk plays Monroe’s Live this Saturday at 9pm.
Martina, from Loughrea, came second in The UK Song Writing Contest in 2009 and won TG4’s Feis And Blood earlier this year, with ‘The Dream’. She will be accompanied by her band - Rick Harris (guitar ), Luis Asturias (bass ), Barry Duffy (drums ), Kiaran Kelly (guitar ), Marcin Plaza (keyboards ), and Julie, Edel, and Louise from Belladonna on backing vocals.
