O’Donnellan & Joyce marches forward with its second large auction of the season

On Friday September 30 the Victoria Hotel was bursting at the seams when O’Donnellan & Joyce launched its winter auctions with 15 properties going under the hammer on the first of three big auctions. So big was the crowd that O’Donnellan & Joyce had a second large screen set up in the bar area of the hotel where potential purchasers and clients could see the live auction and follow each property as it was being auctioned off by auctioneer Colm O’Donnellan. On that day 10 of the 15 properties sold under the hammer, with four of the remaining properties selling after the auction.

The company has now launched its second large auction of the season and this will take place, as always, in the Victoria Hotel, Eyre Square, on Friday November 4 at 3pm. Nine properties will go under the hammer on the day, all at knock down prices and low reserves. As was always the case, location and price are key to a successful auction, and each of the properties on offer from O’Donnellan & Joyce on November 4 is guaranteed to adhere to this with locations such as The Claddagh, Salthill, Newcastle, Mervue, Ballybrit, Claregalway, and a fantastic site in Renville, Oranmore. Prices range from the site with an AMV of €30,000, with house prices starting at €100,000 in Claregalway to €375,000 for a superb five bed detached home in Newcastle.
