Galway Racecourse will hosts its annual October meeting this weekend with a 14-race card over two days and a prize fund of more than €200,000.
The action gets under way on Saturday with the first race at 2.25pm and the last race at 5.35pm. The feature race of the day is the Faber Audiovisuals Ballybrit Novice Steeplechase.
Racing will begin on Sunday at 2.40pm, with the last race at 5.50pm. The feature race on Sunday is the Dara Cassidy Memorial Handicap Steeplechase.

The Galway Races October meeting is the perfect venue for a group social outing or for a family outing, with free admission for children under 14 on both days. There are fantastic lunch packages available for both days, which include racecourse admission, four course meal, reserved table for the day with view of the track, and a racecard, at €55 per person.
