Galway Cat Rescue, in conjunction with an enthusiastic local fashion team, is holding a major fund-raising event, the Feline Fatale Fashion Show, in the Galway Bay Hotel on October 19 at 8 pm.
The event will showcase the newest collections from a number of local boutiques and vintage shops, as well as up-and-coming Galway fashion designers. In addition to a wide sampling of the latest fashions, a variety of local businesses will have stalls offering a wide range of items. There will also be a raffle, featuring numerous attractive prizes, along with a prize for the Best-Dressed Guest.
Sponsors of the show include Momento Hair Salon, Peter Fedrizzi Photography, Harlow & Harvey, and MakeupIsArt. All proceeds raised will go towards the work of Galway Cat Rescue, an all-volunteer registered charity, whose mission is to solve the Galway feral cat overpopulation crisis through the humane, non-lethal, method of Trap-Neuter- Return (TNR ). It also rescues abandoned, sick, and abused cats, providing them with veterinary care, food, shelter, and a safe, caring, environment until a suitable permanent home can be found. Educating and informing the public about the care of cats and the importance of spaying and neutering their pets is also one of Galway Cat Rescue’s priorities.
Fashionistas looking for a great night out can purchase a ticket for this amazing event for just €15 (€10 for students and OAPs ), from Wrapsody, Moycullen, Ark Vets (Knocknacarra, Barna, and Moycullen ), Petmania, Wellpark, Petworld, Terryland, and Galway Cat Rescue.
