WILKIE BRANSON of Champloo Dance Company will give a workshop in St Nicholas’ Parochial Hall this Sunday aimed at children and teenagers.
Bristol based Champloo are one of Britain’s leading professional B-Boying dance companies, taking their name from a Japanese word meaning to mix unusual combinations of things to derive the most amazing outcomes.
Champloo are in Galway to perform as part of the Baboró Festival beginning this weekend. Their show, White Caps, follows the journey of two men as they embark on an epic adventure.
The classes take place at 2.30pm (seven to 12-year-olds ) and 3.30pm (13 years and over ). Parents are advised that children will need to wear loose comfortable clothing and be signed in by a parent or guardian.
