The countdown has begun to the west of Ireland tech-ie Oscars — the ITAG awards— which are being held tomorrow night (Friday ) at the Hotel Meyrick.
The awards will honour outstanding information technology companies, executives and advocates in the west of Ireland. The awards focus on the contribution of individuals, teams and organisations that have excelled in the use, development and deployment of IT.

The awards are ITAG’s annual celebration of vitality and innovation in Galway and indeed the west of Ireland’s fast-growing technology community. The awards gala is the largest gathering of technology executives outside Dublin, and this year’s awards ceremony is completely ‘sold out’ with more than 300 technologists attending. MC for the night is Galway Bay fm’s Gareth O’Callaghan with a guest appearance from Oliver Callan, of Nob Nation fame on the night.
