The Red Barn has developed a style that is a blend of European traditional and American classic. The company’s design is a mixture of old and new, combined to give a classical and unique look that is relaxed and natural.
The Red Barn has been in Galway for the past 11 years. It is a busy retail showroom of furniture and accessories from around the globe.
The Red Barn started in 2000 in the city centre and then it was expanded in 2007 to a larger showroom on the outskirts of the city, as its clientele from across Ireland was growing. Owner Moira Cunningham felt the new premises was a great opportunity to show different designs and colour combinations by dividing the showroom into room settings. “It is very easy for our customers to see the different atmospheres in the different settings, as we believe every room should have an atmosphere and an ambience in it to suit its purpose, and that of the client, and then we combine fabrics and paint colours and furniture to achieve this,” she explained.
The Red Barn specialises in renovation, new builds, and refurbishments, from residential to delivering tailored spaces for private clients. The company also offers commercial design, fitting out nursing homes and apartments, both in Galway and around the country.
The Red Barn is known for its depth of knowledge and practicality, so that each room is decorated for its purpose.
The Red Barn has just added Neptune kitchens to its stock; this range has fabulous kitchen tables and chairs, and lamps which are ideal for kitchens, and it also provides a full kitchen fit-out from Neptune.
The Red Barn offers a free consultation in its showroom by appointment with a qualified interior designer.
