Peadar King to launch new album @ The Crane

TOMORROW SEES the release of The Shadowlands, the second album by Inishbofin singer-songwriter Peadar King.

The album release will be marked by a number of County Galway concerts from Peadar; in Mullarkeys, Clifden, tonight; The Brogue, Tuam, tomorrow; and The Crane on Saturday at 6.30pm.

Peadar’s style of music mixes the influences of Irish trad with Richard Thompson, Tom Waits, and Bruce Springsteen. The Shadowlands has already drawn praise from broadcaster Niall Toner who said “every track [is] performed with conviction and affection”, while Scottish singer Gillebride McMillan said “Peadar King is a poet. His songs always tell a story and his rich voice invites you to be a part of that story. His live performance is something special.”
