Husqvarna ride-on mowers make the cut into Guinness World Records

Dunnamaggin in Co Kilkenny recently played host to the Husqvarna ride-on mower Guinness World Record attempt which saw 1,000 ride-on mowers cutting grass on the same field at the same time. Husqvarna sponsored this event, which raised much needed funds for the Camphill Community, a therapeutic community for children and adults with multiple disabilities.

Whether you are a gardener or if you are a professional using chainsaws, rider mowers, and trimmers daily, Husqvarna equipment will give any job that extra cutting edge.

The world record attempt was the main event on the day, which also featured activities for all the family from fun carnival stalls, trade stands, and food stalls to live music and entertainment. Tickets were €50 per ride-on mower for the Guinness World Record attempt, €5 for non-participants, and free for children under 10. There were also prizes for participants, with €6,000 going to a club that entered the event and sold 10 tickets for it, as well as a €3,300 ride-on mower, with a chance for every participant in the event to win.
