Cadillac tells us its Escalade hybrid will be sold in Europe with an eight-year or 160,000 kilometre warranty on some specific hybrid components.
The Escalade hybrid achieves greater than 20 per cent improvement in combined fuel consumption and combined CO2 emissions improvement over the non-hybrid model.
However, the combined average consumption of the Escalade hybrid is 11.1 l/100km, or in old money, 25mpg. It will be a lot worse in urban environments.
