IF YOU have ever fancied yourself as the next Keith Moon or Ginger Baker, or simply like the idea of tapping away on some bongos, then check out this upcoming event at Campbell’s Tavern.
On Thursday July 28 Campbell’s Tavern, Cloughanover, will host a drum masterclass with Éimhín Cradock (This Nachez ) and Rickie O’Neill.
The class will cover techniques, tips, solos, questions and answers with the tutors, and a ‘drum-off’. “I think it’s very important for drummers to study other drummers live,” says Cradock. “You pick up so much more in a clinic environment, up close to the drummers, than you do at a normal gig.”
