Matt Berry @ Róisín Dubh

MATT BERRY is best known for playing Dixon Bainbridge, the evil, megalomaniacal zoo owner in The Mighty Boosh, and the womanising Douglas Raynhom in The IT Crowd.

Aside from being an acclaimed and popular comic actor, Matt Berry is also a singer, songwriter, and musician, having composed the music for the spoof opera AD/BC: A Rock Opera and soundtracks for TV programmes.

Matt also has a solo album, Witchazel, which was released on the Acid Jazz label in March of this year. Songs from that album, as well as a magnificent rendition of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, featured in Matt’s marvellous Róisín Dubh show last November.

On-stage Matt delivers sophisticated and adventurous prog-rock, jazz-funk, and out there pop, delivered with his trademark charisma and charm. High on top class musicianship and first rate entertainment there promises to be plenty for both the curious, the fan of his TV work, and serious music heads.

Support is from The Bluetones’ Mark Morris. Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh and www.roisindubh.net
