Yoga Shala launches new training programme

David and Laragh Cunningham of the Yoga Shala have just launched their teacher training programme. The programme which is fully subscribed sees them working with Australia’s most respected yoga teachers and physiotherapists. Simon Borg Olivier and Bianca Machliss have propelled yoga into mainstream Australian life through their innovative teachings over the past 25 years and Borg Olivier pays his first teaching visit to Europe on August 19 for what will be an amazing weekend workshop. There are still some places available but the workshop is only recommended for those have an established yoga practice.

David Cunningham explained: “It is exciting to be the first to bring yoga synergy’s teachings to Europe. The style is a merging of elements of traditional and ancient hatha yoga styles, together with an in depth scientific knowledge of anatomy and physiology.”

David and Laragh Cunningham have established themselves through their yoga schools in Galway city and Barna as two of Ireland’s most respected yoga teachers. Their commitment to staying at the cutting edge of yoga and health has been rewarding for them and their students. “Our work with Yoga Synergy in Australia has allowed us to bring all we learned in India and around the world to another level which is more beneficial yet easier to follow than anything we had previously experienced. We are excited for our students to experience this in our classes and of course Simon’s visit will be something very special.”

The new summer schedule which starts on July 18 in Galway city and Barna allows patrons to do unlimited yoga classes for €110 over eight weeks. More details are available on www.theyogashala.net or by calling 085-1573153.
