THE 2011 Over The Edge Summer Open-mic, part of the Westside Arts Festival, takes place at the Westside Library, Seamus Quirke Road, on Tuesday at 6.30pm.
Everyone who has a poem or story to share is welcome to go along and read them to an audience. The MCs will be Kevin Higgins and Susan Millar DuMars.
The evening will also see the launch of Monday Miscellany, a collection of stories, memoir and poems by participants in Kevin Higgins’ Monday morning creative writing class at Westside Library. The guest speaker will be Galway City Council arts officer James Harrold. This event takes place at 5.30pm.
