GALWAY IS in store for a night of African and Christian music - drawing on gospel, soul, funk, pop, and hip hop - at the Agape Festival 2011 Night Of Praise.
The Agape Festival takes place on Friday July 22 at the Clayton Hotel Galway from 7pm to 10pm. The host artist on the night will be Nigerian born, Galway based, singer-songwriter Shaday (Folashade Shekete ), who released her debut album UNLEASHED...this is Me earlier this year.
Other performers on the night include saxophonist Allen Taylor, singer-guitarist Barry Culligan, gospel singer Tolu King, comedian Fabu D, The Abundant Life Worship Band, TREM Kids rappers. There will also be an appearance by Pastor Bada.
Admission is €10. There will be prizes and free gifts on the night. Tickets are available from Alrem Stores, Ballybane; His Grace Stores, Ballybrit; Ivory Market, Prospect Hill, and at the Clayton on the night.
