ARTISTS ARE invited to make submissions to be included in the 2011 TULCA festival of visual arts.
The Open Submission section is open to Irish and international artists working in all media. The theme is “After the fall”, which will encourage artists to question the role of art at a time of recession and political and social upheaval.
The deadline for submissions is Friday July 29. Applications are accepted by email or hardcopy. All applications must include examples of previous work (to be submitted on CD/DVD or as links to video/websites, or other online content. Links to online content must be clearly labelled and context given ), a concise artists statement, a CV, and proposal (if applicable ).
Submissions can be emailed to [email protected], with TULCA OPEN SUBMISSION in the subject box, or posted to TULCA Open Submission, 30 St Joseph’s Avenue, Galway, Ireland. Submissions will not be returned unless a self-addressed envelope is included.
